As we expand further, we are looking for a passionate Sales Engineer to join our team. This person will help us tell our story to prospective customers, working closely with sales and technical teams to align Zivver's cutting-edge solutions with the needs of the people and organizations that need them most. 

What you will do: 

  • Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of the Zivver product suite, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert in outbound secure communications and inbound email threats like phishing. 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities, ensuring that technical requirements align with the product and business needs. 

  • Engage directly with prospects and clients during sales calls, industry events, and trials, helping to demonstrate the value of our solutions and overcome technical objections. 

  • Gather technical requirements, scope technical solutions, and ensure that Zivver’s solutions are a good fit for the customer’s needs, leading to successful deployments. 

  • Coordinate & respond on technical aspects of customer RFPs/RFIs, ensuring that our proposals meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to research and draft compelling business cases and support high-quality tender responses. 

  • Maintain CRM hygiene, ensuring accurate and up-to-date deal tracking, pipeline management, and reporting. 

  • Lead and manage Proof of Concept (POC) efforts for prospective clients, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with customer goals. 

  • Work closely with the post-sales implementation team to ensure a smooth transition and successful client onboarding 

  • Identify and implement improvements in sales processes, ensuring efficiency and best practices across the sales organization.

Job requirements

What you will bring: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering  or technical role, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector. 

  • Proficiency in Dutch is required for effective communication with local customers and stakeholders. 

  • A strong interest in developing technical expertise, particularly in secure communication technologies. An understanding of encryption, data loss prevention, and security regulations is a plus. 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible information for both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong ability to collaborate across departments and work towards shared goals. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required. Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is required.
