As our new Tech Recruiter, you have the knowledge and experience that enables you to find, attract and hire the best and brightest new (Tech) Zivvys. You know what recruitment channels and platforms work for you while staying on top of new tools and tricks to reach the unreachables. After you’ve piqued their interest, you ensure it’s smooth sailing through our recruitment process.

To make that possible, you (in cooperation with the recruitment team and your hiring managers) have created the most effective and pleasant process, with the aim to hire the best of the best to help support our rapid growth. Throughout this process you are a true business partner for the Hiring Manager and the go-to-person for your colleagues when it comes to Tech Recruitment. You love to take recruitment to the next level and combine your day-to-day work with projects such as setting up a referral program, building a strong employer brand, using data analysis to improve your processes and creating a talent pool for future roles, etc.

A day in the life of…
As we are living in times of a pandemic, there’s no such thing as a day at HQ :) We fully support a work-from-home situation (read as monitors, headphones, webcam, docks, and whatever else you might need).

So, It’s Monday morning and you grab yourself a coffee or a tea and you open up your laptop.

You go through your emails and prioritize your tasks for the day. Yes! It’s 9:30, which means it’s time for the Recruitment Daily. You are excited to hear what Kelly (Head of Recruitment), Marleen (Interim Recruiter) and Fleur (Recruiter) have been up to on their weekend. Next to that, it’s obviously shop talk: we discuss our updates, priorities and any obstacles you need help with. Fleur brings up she would like to get involved in Tech Recruitment as she is now focusing on business roles only. She is asking if you can train her on that subject and teach her everything you know about the business. As you love Tech, you can’t wait to get her up to speed. So the both of you schedule a meeting immediately to discuss this further.

After the daily, you have a clear picture of what you want to get done today. You start off with a few screening calls for the DevOps position in Enrico’s (VP Engineering) team. During the call you make notes and after the call, you add the evaluation to the candidate’s profile in Recruitee. This way your recruitment colleagues as well as Enrico can read your comments. You’ve spoken to interesting candidates and made them very enthusiastic about Zivver. They are excited to proceed to the first interview after your call! So you quickly schedule that before it’s time for lunch and a stroll outside.

After lunch, you have your Tech Recruitment Weekly meeting with Enrico to discuss the candidates in the pipeline. He also lets you know that there is a new vacancy in his team. You ask him everything about it, as you need to understand the vacancy in detail so you can find the perfect candidate. Tomorrow you’ll start searching (you’ve blocked a few hours tomorrow..) for this position and you’re already thinking about an original approach so that you’ll get a high response rate.

It’s time for your meeting with Fleur. You have scheduled an hour to begin explaining all the tips and tricks for Tech Recruitment, to work together on the referral project and also to brainstorm about a (virtual) team event.

It’s almost the end of the day and then you get an exciting email, your candidate accepted the offer! It’s for one of your non-tech roles, Enterprise Account Executive for the Belgium market. You let the Sales and Recruitment team know and everybody is thrilled! It’s a great ending to a busy day.


  • Manage the recruitment process end-to-end including sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates for tech and non-tech vacancies;
  • Search, find and target the best candidates for your vacancies and stay up to date with the (tech) platforms and online communities we need to use;
  • Act as an internal Recruitment Business Partner. This means aligning with the hiring managers to know exactly what Zivver needs, advise them on the processes you develop, and take proactive action when necessary during the recruitment process;
  • Actively maintain, update and improve our ATS (Recruitee);
  • Work on short and long term recruitment projects together with the Recruitment team.

      • Minimum Bachelor (HBO/WO) in any field;
      • (Tech) Recruitment experience of at least 3 years;
      • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
      • Knowledge of the latest recruitment trends;
      • Commercially-minded with strong negotiation skills.
