 A day at Zivver

You start the day with a morning stand up with your colleagues Matt and Jana. Today, you discuss how to improve the user onboarding and performance of security scanning for attachments. Last week, you attended a UX/Product meetup and learned more about how to facilitate new Customer Discovery techniques to help the team. After an online meeting with your peers, you set up a quick story mapping session to help unblock the team on a new feature you’ve been working on.

Around 11:30 AM it’s time to gather the input you need from leadership, the customer success team and our end users to push several new initiatives through the product process. Making sure to say ‘no’ (or ‘not yet’) to more than half of them. You do this by prioritizing it based on the value it will bring and effort it will take. After a well deserved lunch break you dig into a perplexing feature which can now be released with a new version of the Microsoft API. You prepare the necessary user stories so that the development team can plan them in by Friday, making sure Zivver maintains its speed and flexibility.

The day is drawing to an end. You are in the middle of your scrum process with the team and have a handover meeting to discuss an estimation and once again walk through all details to see if the story is complete on data, UX, UI, copy, possible technical risks and a main for Zivver: the security aspect. The last video call of the day is one with the other product leads to discuss a big new project that spans multiple teams and how to align.


Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for your portfolio at Zivver

  • Analyze complex business cases to determine product feasibility, prioritization and ROI

  • Develop product market positioning with business team, forecasts, and competitive positioning with commercial

  • Support data-driven analysis and decision processes to drive prioritization, assess feature effectiveness, and troubleshoot issues

  • Define strategic direction and KPIs, make recommendations to leadership and execute on approved directions

  • Coach junior/medior product managers and help them with feature prioritization

Requirements

  • You have experience working for a B2B SaaS company and have successfully launched one or more product(s)

  • You are able to work with multiple development teams at the same time to drive multiple product lines

  • Affinity for learning about new domains and the technology that drives them is essential

  • Experience working closely with executive/senior stakeholders and can act as their sparring partner and take strategic direction and inputs

  • You own your roadmap, from inception to beyond release

  • Willing to build, measure and learn

  • Proud of successes, curious by mistakes and failures, resilient to recover and learn
