Sales Engineer (Dutch Speaking)

Job description

It’s ZIVVER’s business to make communication simple & secure. While our solution is simple, our tech stack can be a challenge. It’s your job & brain that connects our customers’ needs to the nitty gritty parts of tech, ensuring those two find each other smoothly.

How? By supporting the sales team, meeting new people, talking to customers and prospects at trade shows or industry events and supporting trials. This fast growing scale-up is going like a rocket and needs enthusiastic, self-sufficient and experienced professionals to go even faster.

Hot take

  • “I can’t imagine that works” is your chance to shine
  • A technical presentation to your peers is your raison d'etre
  • Answering an RFP is a pre dinner treat
  • You thrive on being seen as a crucial member of the sales team
  • Your technical knowledge feels like oxygen. You just don’t understand why so many have difficulty breathing

A day at Zivver

On arrival at the office you grab your hot drink of choice whilst exchanging pleasantries with your workmates. Pick a desk, any desk, no hard rules at HQ regarding where you sit, just open your laptop and start your day.

At 10am you have a call with an exciting new prospect that you and the Commercial Sales Manager met at a recent trade show and the agenda is to go through some qualifying questions and then move to a demo. The call threw up some challenging questions so you agreed to get back to the client once you had done some research so you put together an email detailing the clients business problem along with some details on their existing architecture and send it over to the Product team.

After lunch you have a weekly sales meeting where you are required to provide technical insight on some key deals for the quarter. You are assisting several of the team on projects so you make sure you have your notes in order with the status of various trials and customer interactions.

Your now spend a couple of hours working on an RFP response for a large Insurance company, this is a competitive bid but we have been driving the requirements from the start and this request looks ideal for us.

With that piece of work completed and your inbox now cleared with a clear action plan for tomorrow it’s time to close your laptop and relax before another busy day of customer meetings tomorrow.
