The past year we have been very busy defining, optimizing and finetuning our People Operations processes. While there is lots of optimization still to be done, we would now also greatly benefit from someone who can keep the daily People Operation afloat. A day in the life of...

You arrive at the office, still happily reminiscing about waking up to that beautiful screen. Off for a coffee to keep that energy up, as you will need it to arrange documentation for the 5 new ZIVVYs that will join next week. As you sit down to start, Leroy tells you another ZIVVY will join in a week. Hello startup life! Let’s get going then.

After two hours you have nearly finished and that leaves just enough time to walk to the coffee machine for your second cup and walk by Fabio; it’s his birthday and he has brought brigadeiros to celebrate!

Right before you all have a team lunch together in the Hummingbar, there is a meeting scheduled to discuss how to manage payroll in the UK. In the meeting, you will briefly explain how we currently work in the Netherlands and how you believe we should move forward in order to be truly scalable in the UK. Great, you have gotten the information you need and are ready to set your plan in motion.

After lunch, you finish up the agenda for the onboarding program on Monday and make sure it’s all set to show on the screens for the new ZIVVYs. And as you are processing the sick days of this week you also create a report on absenteeism for Evelien to discuss with the leads.

As you are finalising one last contract you see everyone going to the Hummingbar; it’s friday so time for our TGIF-beer & demo! Today Olivier is presenting the latest product updates and so much has changed again! What a great way to end the week!


You can grow into the responsibilities of this role. You will be coached and guided by Evelien, People & Culture specialist.

  • Execute ongoing People administration related to onboarding, offboarding, contracts, sick leave, pension and work permits;
  • Create People reporting to inform our organisation and Leadership of people-related data;
  • Review current People Ops processes and make improvements if necessary;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbally in Dutch & English;
  • Structured, accurate and well-organized way of working;
  • Getting-things-done attitude;
  • You think before you act and don’t just follow up orders;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment of a scale-up.


  • 1-2 years working experience, in a HR/People Ops oriented role;
  • Experience with handling payroll;
  • Experience within an international (SaaS) startup would be a plus!
