A day at Zivver
It is Monday 8.30 am when you park your bike in the basement of our office or have a short walk from the nearest public transport stop. You have a quick chat with your colleagues and grab a cup of coffee or tea. Then you have the stand-up with everyone in the company. In 15 minutes every one can tell something about their department, this is your big chance to introduce yourself to your colleagues and tell them about your exciting plans.
You spend an hour organising your prospecting list for the week and then at 10am you have a meeting scheduled to provide a demo to an exciting new prospect in the Legal Industry so you grab a coffee and put on your headset. The call went well and things are moving ahead so you update your CRM with the latest notes and schedule your next meeting. You finish your morning with a 30 minute meeting with Marketing to discuss an upcoming webinar which should uncover some new opportunities for you.
After lunch you have an important call with an Education client to discuss your proposal. You are expecting some negotiation to take place so you have ensured you have the relevant information to hand regarding pricing and technical options that we can offer to sweeten the deal and get it over the line. The meeting was great and you have secured an outline agreement with the customer, they have agreed to take it forward to Senior Management for final approvals so you update your CRM accordingly and send a follow up email to the client confirming the points you agreed.
You now spend a couple of hours working on some quotes and legal agreements for the other deals which you expect to close this quarter. It’s been a great day full of positivity and you have managed to secure some follow up meetings for next week.
With your to-do list complete and a clear action plan for tomorrow it’s time to relax and spend some time on your personal development.
