We’re building a truly unique solution that leads the market in secure digital communications. With more than 6000 customers globally, we’re now looking to break new markets. This is no average role, but you’re not what you’d describe as average either - great, you’re a great fit for Zivver! We’re looking for someone with a strategic mindset who also understands the operational pains of scaling a fast moving company. You know very well that it’s not only about strategy; we are working with people. Therefore you understand how to simultaneously create a safe and supportive environment for your people whilst empowering them to achieve great things in Zivver’s journey.

What you’ll do

  • You identify, prioritise and implement the changes required to continue our maturity and evolution, building a scalable, high performing engineering organization, that will support global ambitions;

  • You’ll continue the evolution of the organisation, structure, processes and culture that retains its strong focus on security and smart technology. You enjoy sharing your ideas and perspectives across the business and are open to tailor them to what works best for Zivver, whilst raising our accountability to our customer and a stronger focus on delivering product value and quality, at pace;

  • You build strong and collaborative relationships with customer facing teams (Sales, Customer Success & Professional Services), working tirelessly to deliver great outcomes for our customers;

  • Evolve shared processes on bug resolution or software release to ensure that all parties can maximise their effectiveness in driving customer experience through prompt resolution of bugs or developing new product value;

  • You proactively identify technology debt that is inhibiting software quality or development productivity, owning and developing the plan to mitigate the impact and improve sustainability;

  • Mature our approach to the development, deployment and release of software, maximising our delivery of high quality software and that our colleagues and customers are easily able to consume software change;

  • Promote the work the engineering teams are doing across the organisation, excite others to our technology and promoting the brand of the team internally (and externally as part of making Zivver an attractive place to work);

  • Working closely with the Director of Product Management, ensure that we’re maximising the development of product value at pace whilst ensuring that we’re capitalising on our existing and future technology innovations in support of the product strategy;

  • You develop a performance management culture and framework and associated practices within a rapidly growing engineering function, ensuring that reward is both competitive and appropriately aligned to individual performance;

  • You work closely with the CTO on both building out the long term technology strategy, and more tactical emerging technology innovations and opportunities;

  • You continually assess opportunities to further improve performance and effectiveness of the function, able to adapt modern approaches to best suit the organisation and its continued growth.

Benefits

  • International diverse team with over 27 nationalities - and yes, we offer Dutch classes too!

  • You know how to manage a dynamic environment and are energised by emerging challenges and opportunities;

  • You see immaturity in process or systems, as an opportunity;

  • You have a hands-on "done it before" mentality and bring the necessary experience to drive change, and possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization;

  • You’re quick when it comes to taking ownership, build personal accountability for the performance of the team and the value our software brings to our customers;

  • You have strong change management skills, can execute organisational or process change quickly and effectively, ensuring the team is brought on the journey with us;

  • You have experience in delivering software through Agile/SCRUM methodologies but with a strong emphasis on predictability, transparency and value delivery at pace;

  • You are empathetic, able to understand other people's perspectives on a situation, identify common ground and build an environment of coaching and support;

  • Your energy is contagious, you enjoy working with colleagues across the business and relish the opportunity to build up the maturity of the organisation;
