With Zivver, there’s no such thing as a data leak. With some impressive growth behind us, we’re now looking ahead and are on the lookout for a Director of Product Development to support our future expansion.


As our Director of Product Development you’ll build out the product development organization, building a stable department, implementing strong processes and culture with a focus on product design and delivery. Your main focus: how we build those product capabilities. Together with our Director of Software Engineering and Director of Product Management, you’ll set the direction for our Product function and ensure the development teams understand what we’re building and why.


We don’t like to tell you how to do your job, and you don’t like it either. We’re looking for someone who already has a solution, even before the issue arises. Responsibilities

  • You and your team will be responsible for designing and delivering product capabilities that realise our brand values, product strategy and customer needs.

  • Keep an intimate knowledge of the product backlogs, building predictability and transparency across the business and with a strong focus on speed to market.

  • Building an organisation, structure, processes and culture that supports scalability, and that aligns to a scale-up business with a strong emphasis on agility and discovery as we emerge into new markets and verticals.

  • Proactively identify potential innovations and product opportunities enabled through our existing technology and skills.

  • Promote the work the product design team are doing across the organisation, exciting others to our product improvements and promoting the brand of the team internally (and externally as part of making Zivver an attractive place to work).

  • Working closely with the Director of Software Engineering, ensure that we’re maximising the development of product value at pace whilst ensuring that we’re capitalising on our existing and future technology innovations in support of the product strategy.

  • Developing a performance management culture and associated practices within a growing team.

  • Continuously assess opportunities to further improve performance and effectiveness of the function, able to adapt modern approaches to best suit the organisation and its continued growth.

Requirements


  • Ability to manage in a dynamic environment, someone that is energised by emerging challenges and opportunities.

  • You’re quick when it comes to taking ownership and you take personal accountability for the performance of the team and the value our software brings to our customers.

  • You have experience in delivering product capabilities through Agile/SCRUM methodologies but with an emphasis on predictability, transparency and value delivery at pace.

  • You have experience in maturing an organisation, recognising the right level of process and governance for where Zivver is in its evolution.

  • You’ve experience in developing a performance management culture and associated practices within a rapidly growing team and in a changing environment.

  • You’re hands on and can bring maturity and experience to effect change.

  • You’re someone that enjoys building relationships across the organisation, and operating at all levels within the organisation.
